Profile
Mr. Vinay M. graduated with a B.A. LL.B. from University Law College, Bangalore University, and later obtained an LL.M. from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. He has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
He has one year of professional litigation experience, handling matters relating to civil, criminal, labour, consumer and property law, including drafting pleadings, client consultations and appearances before judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
His academic interests include Arbitration, Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), Inter-State Dispute Settlement, Property Law and Criminal Law. He is currently engaged in teaching, integrating practical courtroom exposure with doctrinal learning to enhance students’ analytical and advocacy skills.
Achievements
- Assisted the Justice H.N. Nagmohan Das Commission, Government of Karnataka (2020) in legal research assignments.
- Published a research article titled “Comparative Analysis of the Decline of Trial by Jury in India and Its Prevalence in the United States” in the International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews (IJRAR), Volume 12, Issue 2, May 2025.
- Actively participated in Moot Court competitions and Model United Nations (MUNs), receiving Honourable Mention and Special Mention awards.
- Served as Under Secretary General and Student Mentor for University Law College MUN initiatives, contributing to student engagement in academic forums.
