RV Educational Institutions (RVEI) was founded in 1940 by the late Sri M.C. Sivananda Sarma, on a conviction that education is not a privilege, but a right. What began as a single school has, over eight decades, grown into a network of 28+ institutions serving more than 24,000 students and supported by over 3,000 staff members. The academic framework spans kindergarten to postgraduate education across technology, health sciences, management, humanities, natural sciences, social sciences and legal studies.

RVEI has always believed that a well-rounded institution must serve a wide cross-section of society. That includes education for students with special needs and sustained outreach to the less privileged. Rural health camps and community awareness programmes reflect this commitment and further underscore that the institution’s responsibility does not end at its gates.

Its enduring motto, “Go, change the world”, is the standard RVEI has held itself to for over eight decades.
