“I joined MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies in 2020 as a B.A., LL.B. student, and looking back, it’s been an amazing journey. When I first started, I was very shy and unsure of myself. But over the years, I slowly came out of my shell. I got involved in various activities, participated in moots, and even won a few competitions, which really boosted my confidence. The atmosphere at college always pushed me to do better and explore my potential beyond academics. What made my experience even better were the people around me. I made some great friends who stood by me through everything, and my teachers were always supportive and encouraging. They guided me not just in academics but throughout the entire course of my legal education. Today, I feel much more confident and outgoing than I was when I first walked into the campus. “Life is like a roller coaster; it is full of surprises, ups and downs, and twists and turns. However, life is great when it goes well. Our time in college is equally thrilling, with ups and downs akin to those on a roller coaster. College is a truly amazing and unexpected time in life when we make adult decisions about our future, make a lot of friends, decide on our majors, decide on our careers, and get ready for the challenges of the real world. My time at RV was an exciting and fulfilling one, the institute provided me with every opportunity to know and achieve my potential. It shaped me through to participate in numerous competitions, to give my best and win them. The infrastructure like library, digital library and other facilities has helped me to navigate throughout this journey. “Some of your good memories in your life are,which is created by you in your college days. My journey in college started with some,introvert feeling as the time pass, the college gave me an evergreen confidence which let me to boost my standards to rise and shine. “College life is considered a bridge in our lives between our school days and our career. It prepares us with the finest academics and a platform to generate dreams into realities. It acts as a transition to prepare us to be more independent. In school, we were dependent on our parents. However, we became independent in college regarding studying, travelling and decision-making and financially independent after college. It is a valued and very smooth transition where we do not realise that we have become independent.
I had enjoyed my college life to the fullest and had some of the best college days of my life. I am a student of one of the most reputed colleges of Bengaluru i.e, RV Institute Of Legal Studies. I have completed my BA.LLB. When I took admission to this college, I was really afraid as all the people were new to me. But soon, I started enjoying my college life and made some fantastic friends. I loved everything about my college and participated in the events at my college. I participated in many dance competitions that occurred in college. One of the best things about college life is that you get a new experience every day. In my college life, along with studying, I and my friends enjoyed a lot of other things. We travelled to lots of places, had new experiences, and learned many new things. Another thing I loved about my college life is the annual fests. Every year, our college organises an annual fest that lasts for 2-3 days. In this annual fest, various competitions happen, and students from various colleges come to be a part of this annual fest. Every year, our college organises a massive annual fest, and all the students of our college participate in various events and enjoy a lot in this fest. These fests allow students to socialise with new people and showcase their talent to everyone, which builds their confidence and helps them in their future. I have participated in my college & annual fest for all five years, and I have got the best exposure and experience of my life through this fest. I had the best time of my life in college, and my college life memories will always make me happy.”

“My journey at MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies began in August 2019 when I embarked on the path of pursuing a BBA. LL.B. degree. Over these five years, I’ve experienced remarkable growth, both personally and academically. As I progressed, I delved deeper into the complexities of law, engaging in moot courts, internships, and legal research that broadened my understanding and sharpened my skills.
During my initial years I was scared and had stage fear, I was scared to speak infornt of the whole class. I held myself back but today I find myself more confident, can face the audience and ready to take up challenges. “My five years at MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies have been transformative. Moving to Bangalore was a new chapter, but the institute quickly became a place where I could grow and thrive. The support from the faculty and the encouragement to engage in NCC, moot court competitions and research projects enriched my learning experience. Winning the Best Researcher award in an international moot court competition is a testament to the guidance I received here.
Beyond academics, the friendships and bonds formed with my classmates have made this journey truly unforgettable. As I graduate, I am deeply thankful for the support and encouragement from my teachers and the principal, who have prepared me for the future with confidence and purpose”.
Orientation Session for the 36th YMCA Model Parliament Competition
An orientation session for the 36th YMCA Model Parliament Competition was conducted on 1st September, 2025, and led by RVILS alumnus Mr. Chinmayee.
The session introduced students of MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies (RVILS) to the structure and procedures of the Model Parliament, offering insights into parliamentary functioning and legislative processes. Drawing from his experience, Mr. Chinmayee guided students on debating techniques, drafting motions and maintaining parliamentary decorum during parliamentary proceedings.
The interactive session provided students with a practical understanding of the competition and encouraged participation in Model Parliament and legislative simulation activities.
