Manupatra – Comprehensive Indian Legal Database
Manupatra is a leading online legal research platform that provides RVILS students with access to Supreme Court and High Court decisions, tribunal rulings, and central and state legislation. It also covers corporate law, taxation, court rules and parliamentary reports, along with secondary resources such as commentaries, e-books and case analyses. The platform supports efficient legal research, academic study and practical training, making it an essential tool for students, researchers and aspiring legal professionals.

Santosh Kumar Naragund is an experienced librarian with eight years of service in academic library and information management. He oversees cataloguing, classification and the use of library management systems such as KOHA and LIBSOFT to ensure organised and accessible collections.
He supports students and faculty with research assistance, information retrieval and citation guidance, and has conducted workshops to strengthen research practices within the institution. Committed to information literacy and academic support, he works towards maintaining a structured and conducive learning environment at RVILS.
Sagar S. contributes to the academic functioning of the RVILS Library through his work in cataloguing, classification and the management of both digital and print collections. He is proficient in the Dewey Decimal Classification and Library of Congress Classification systems, and works with platforms such as KOHA and LIBSOFT to ensure that resources remain organised and accessible.
He supports students and faculty with research assistance and information retrieval, and has been involved in conducting workshops on research tools and citation practices. With a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Mysore, he brings both technical precision and a student-focused approach to his role within the library.
