Ms. Kruthika B. is an academician specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law, with a strong interest in advancing scholarship and pedagogy in the field of legal studies. She completed her B.A. LL.B. from BMS College of Law, affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, where she developed a strong foundation in core areas of law.
She later obtained her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, where her academic work focused on issues relating to corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of business, law and technology, with particular focus on corporate governance reforms, privacy and data protection, and the legal implications of emerging technologies in digital markets.
Achievements
- Completed an LL.M. dissertation titled “Effectiveness of Gender Diversity in Corporate Boardrooms”, analysing the role of diversity in strengthening decision-making, accountability and ethical governance within corporate structures.
- Published a research paper titled “Regulating Biometric Data Privacy in Virtual Environments: Legal Implications in the Metaverse,” reflecting engagement with contemporary legal challenges relating to digital regulation and emerging technologies.
