Profile
Ms. Rochani Rao began her professional career by practising before the High Court and Trial Courts in Bengaluru. She completed her B.A. LL.B. from Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, Udupi, affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, securing 5th Rank in the University examinations. She later obtained her LL.M. in Commercial Law from CMR University, Bengaluru, graduating with First Rank. She has contributed to legal scholarship through long articles, short articles and research papers. Her academic interests include Public International Law and Jurisprudence.

- Published a long article titled “OTT Platforms and Religious Sentiments: An Analysis in the Perspective of Content Regulation” in CMRU Journal for Contemporary Legal Affairs (JCLA), Volume V.
- Presented a paper titled “Sufferings of Non-Pandemic Patients During the Pandemic” at the International Webinar on Law, Public Health and Pandemics: Changing Dimensions of Right to Health, organised by Central University of Kerala.
- Presented a paper titled “Indian Constitution and Gender Equality” at the National Webinar on Holistic Review of Women Laws, organised by the Department of Law, Central University of Kerala.
