Justice is an ideal, and this ideal is realised through law. Legal education, therefore, carries the responsibility of shaping professionals who uphold both knowledge and conscience. It is with this understanding that M.K. Panduranga Setty Memorial RV Institute of Legal Studies functions under the distinguished RV Educational Institutions (RVEI), an organisation with over eight decades of educational legacy and stewardship of more than 28 institutions committed to value-based learning.
RVILS since 2018, which was renamed as MK Panduranga Setty Memorial RV Institute of Legal Studies in 2024, has created an atmosphere for striving youngsters who want to pursue their education in legal studies. The courses offered B.A., LL.B and B.B.A., LL.B Five Years Integrated Degree Course makes students focus on studies relating to Law and Justice. From the year 2025, we are offering B.Com. LL.B 5 years Integrated Degree Course and 3 years LL.B Degree Course designed to cater to diverse career aspirations and meet the evolving demands of the legal profession. Our institution has taken up the collective responsibility of shaping the student’s career, academics and overall personality development which enhances the students to become better professionals at the Bar.
Guided by this vision, our academic approach combines doctrinal rigour with meaningful practical exposure. Through moot courts, research engagement, internships and participation in National and International forums, students learn to think critically and approach the law with maturity. In doing so, we remain committed to preparing professionals who understand both the letter and the spirit of the law.
This commitment is sustained by a dedicated faculty and a resource-rich digital library, which together support a learning environment where students work closely with faculty and gradually build confidence for professional practice. At RVILS, the study of law is carried forward with a clear sense of duty to the profession and to society.
